General Information about the
Carolina Classic Competition


Greensboro Sheration
      The Carolina Classic Competition is a NDCA recognized competition, organized by Patti Andersen Troy. The competition will be held on November 4-6 2011 at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons in Greensboro, North Carolina ( for directions go to http://www.sheratongreensboro.com). The Sheration is located off Exit 217 on I-40.

 Please make room reservations by October 7th, 2011.  Limited rooms are available at the CCC discount price until October 7th, 2011.

 CLOSING DATE:  October 14th 2011.
Entries received by October 1st may take a 5%  discount on entries only “Early Bird Special ”.  There will be a late fee charged of 5% for entries received after October 14th, 2011.

There will be no refunds after October 14th, 2011.

 TOP TEACHER: Top Teacher Award is a unisex award and will be made to the Teacher with the most Pro/Am entries and Competition points.  To qualify, Teacher must have a minimum of 85 entries and/or three [3] Students.  There will be awarded a total of $4,000 for 6 qualified teachers. The Top Teacher awards will be pro-rated for less than 6 qualified teachers.   All entries must be received by the closing date and paid in full.

 TOP STUDENT: Top Student awards will be determined by the number of Solo
Exhibitions plus 1 point for each Freestyle entry.  1 point for each
uncontested 1st place; 3 points for each contested 1st place; 2 points for each contested 2nd place; 1 point for each contested 3rd place.  To Qualify the competitor must perform at least one solo exhibition.  Each solo is worth 1 point toward the final award.
